What to include
Submit the request through the Contact page. We cannot remove a video or caption hosted by YouTube. A request about content hosted on YouTube must also be sent to YouTube.
- Your full name and contact information.
- A clear description of the copyrighted work or data concerned.
- The relevant YouTube URL and, when available, the workspace URL.
- The specific action you are requesting.
- A good-faith statement that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to make the request.
What happens next
We aim to acknowledge a complete request within 6 hours, verify that it identifies information we control, and take the action required by applicable law and our policies. We may ask for information needed to verify identity, authority, or the location of the data.
False or abusive requests
Do not submit false, automated, or misleading notices. Repeated abuse may lead to service restriction and other remedies available under applicable law.
